Life's great Mystery

We are born by an act of Love and as we grow we seek

guidence from above.

Why was we born we all want to know, there must be a reason

we think, surely so.

But the more we search the more confused we get, but surely

there is an answer we'll find it yet.

Sometimes i'm so lonely it seems too much to bear, and its seems

that there is no one to care.

I ponder these things and here i sit, and ask myself the question

where do i fit?

So many people ask this question too, but the ones who know

are oh so few.

I found the answer i'm glad to say, but it wasn't easy and so many

times i have stumbled along the way.

If we seek we will find, and the answer to this question was so simple

that it blew my mind.

We're not here for just what we can find, but to share our love with

all mankind.

God made man and said it was good, and he made us in His own

image that is understood.

But God seen that man alone would never do, so He took a rib from

man and made a woman too.

So the answer is so simple my sister and my brother, God put us all

here for each other.

Love Leaves

An oak tree in spring with leaves of green is lovely to behold. and

in autum with its leaves of gold

In the spring the leaves of green show signs of life but in autumn they die

after a life so brief for the life was manafest in the leaf.

Like our life here on earth is so brief Life is manafested in our Love just like the leaf. Our life here is just for a season even though at times we know not the reason.

It matters not if we are rich or poor, when its over we must all pass through

that door. Whether we die rich or we die poor we all must pass through the same door.

It matters not if we leave mansions and riches untold, mansions will crumble and riches will mold, but how we treated people in the past, that is the only thing that will Last.

To sum up our life that we have lived here below is manafest in the love we show, I believe, just like the beautiful leaves of the great oak tree, the only thing that matters is the love we leave.

My Heart

Lord you know how much i want to be in your will, and when I fail

I know you Love me still.

My heart swells with gratitude for you,For all the Mercy, grace and Love

you have shown me,and all that you do.

When the storms of life are raging strong, and I am confused by a burden of care, I just say Jesus and i know you are there.

Everytime my heart was filled with dispair and it seemed that i could not cope, you came to me and filled my heart with love and hope.

The love you have shown me i could never repay, even though i thank you everyday. Even though when i fail you, and i feel so bad, I know that you are the best friend i ever had.

Although i claim you for my own Lord, i know you love us all the same,

and when we get in trouble we call on your name.

Your love for us is so awesome and vast, and I know without your love i

would never last. Although we are made in your image Lord,we do stumble and fall, But in my heart i know, that you are here to help us all.

You are such an awesome God, with your mercy and your grace, and you love us all, people of every race. You have loved us from the start, and you will always be in my heart.

Twilight on the Ridge

I remember when but a Lad we lived at five forks on a ridge and

we had no money, Family is all we had.

Spmetimes it was tough i must say, But the family always gathered

and we gave thanks at the end of the day.

We picked berries and sold them when the sun was blazingly hot

and we earned some money though not a lot.

Then at Twilight on the ridge we gathered on the porch to sing

Through the woods and the valley below they could hear our voices

ring.

We didn't need much money because we had Love, and our source of hope came from above.

Sometimes at dusk when the family would ralley we could hear the sound

of church chimes drift up through the valley.

Oh so beautiful they would play, Sweet hour of prayer and amazing grace

it brought so much joy to our day.

Its the simple things in Life that mean so much, Maybe just a kind word

or just a gentle touch.

Now the family is all gone, but i can still hear their voices ring from when

we sat on the porch and we all would sing.

Since that time i have crossed many a bridge, but my mind always goes

back to twilight on the Ridge.

Words

Words are powerful still today, so we must always think

about what we say.

Sometimes words can bring so much joy, but sometimes

our words can destroy.

On our words people should rely, so we shouldn't be so

quick to tell a lie.

We should hold our words when we are mad. lest we lose

friends and thats bad.

Words can hurt and words can heal, its all a matter of how

we feel.

Lord give me the words to help someone along their way

That my words may give hope and brighten their day.

Let not my words bring someone down, but help my words

put a smile on their face and not a frown.

When someone is sad and all alone, its so easy to bring them

cheer, Just a kind word to let them know we're near.

I hope i always have the words i need,Because words can

do so much to help indeed.
