About my ministry

Although I do a lot of instramentals,I have written quite a few Vocals as well as Instramentals.Vocals include, The Blood that was shed for me,The tear stained Bible,The Flight of the Sparrow, Whats the price of freedom, A tear in my eye,The crossing and many others. Hidden Tears Inst. Kingdom Walkin Inst. Rendezvous at Cam-Lo.Inst. All my songs are true songs, the Instramental Rendezvous at Cam-Lo is about an experience I had in Vietnam..In 1965 myself and Benjamin Hamrick joined the Marine Corps and went through all the traing together and went to Vietnam together. We both Landed  in the same Battalion but He went to Echo 2/4 and I went to Fox 2/4 thats the second Battalion Fourth Marines (second to none the Magnificent Bastards) Before we Left for Vietnam a man from the Little community of Kingmont W.Va where we Lived made the comment that Hicky will come back in a Box. so of course that was always on my mind.ON the 8th of aug.1966 Ben's Platoon was ambushed by about four hundred NVA.Then my company Fox got the word to mount up we were going to help them, and the first thing I thought was I hope we don't have to go out there!I could see the tracers flying through the air and hear the explosions and see spooky the gunship firing the miniguns and noway did I want to go out there! But our Radio man was just to my right and I could hear Echo asking for help and they were running out of ammo!

I felt so guilty about those thoughts I had about I didn't want to go out there that I bowed my head and asked the Lord to forgive me for my selfish thoughts and asked him to help us get out there to help Echo Co.AS soon as I prayed that prayer there was a peace that flooded completely over me,and at that moment I knew that I was going to make it home.I Learned that day the two greatest Lessons of my Life I Learned to put others first and,I Learned that God is very Real! So when I made the Instramental Rendezvous at Cam-Lo I wasn't thinking about the battle but about my Rendezvous with God at Cam-Lo.

Others

The song, The flight of the sparrow is about a man that I new in New Jersey who was a man of the streets or a homeless man,and his Last name was Sparrow, and he really impacted my Life because I knew what he had been and what he had become. Sparrow had been an Engineer on the railroad, and very successfull in the way that we consider success But after he Lost his wife and Kids he Lost his way.

It was so sad because all it would have taken was for one spirit filled Christian to tell him about Jesus! But Christians of today do not have time for people Like that,Their too busy playing church they attend the finest churh buildings and are at every service on time and think they are ok,but have completely forgotten its not about buildings,we are the church not buildings,so its not about buildings and church attendence it is supposed to be about People!
